Family Meetings: There’s No Such Thing as Perfect but... How to Enhance Success in Family Meetings

When the trusted advisor enters the family meeting with a mindset of care, respect, and responsibility they become the seed for this kind of behavior in the family.

We’ll discuss the individual, family, and group dynamics as well as the practical implementation and use of best practices in facilitating effective family meetings. A sample meeting agenda as well as insights from a family member of a family business who leads their family council will be included.

This session anticipates our program with the Illinois Institute for Continuing Education. Come learn and help co-create as we outline the steps and practice with expert facilitation.

Moderator:  David Smithson

Presenters:

Sue Rhomberg, Lisa Mullaney, Harold Rice-Erso
