A Successful Trust:
Why it matters, and How to Achieve it.
There are big payoffs for families who consider what will make their trust “successful” or “effective”. These results will make the trust assets go farther, and will also sustain family harmony, increase quality of life and empower the beneficiaries.
The first step is for you to become more effective in helping your client families determine what truly qualifies as a successful trust. From there, it’s a question of engaging them on the various steps to achieve it. There are opportunities along the entire route of planning and also later during administration.
This session anticipates our upcoming program with the Illinois Institute for Continuing Education. Come learn and help co-create as we outline the steps and, with expert facilitation, practice in a role-play workshop.
Moderator:
Linda Crane,
Attorney and former law professor,
Crane Law Group, P.C., Chicago
Presenters:
Mario Correa, Law Office of Mario Correa PC
Daniel P. Felix, The Professional Trustee
